About Assist a Grad:
The Assist-A-Grad Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (AAG) was developed in 1967. Prior to that time, a number of organizations in the community sponsored scholarships using their own forms, deadlines, and procedures. Each had a different, and sometimes difficult, method of awarding the scholarships and disbursing the funds.
Under AAG, a small volunteer group of school and community people have worked hard to provide a single source for information on various local scholarships, a process of interviewing all interested students, and a method of providing the funds directly to the college or university specified by the student. In 1970, the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce strongly supported the Foundation and offered their address for mailing purposes.
The Foundation has continued to operate as a state chartered non-profit corporation and has promoted the development of new sources of scholarships. Today, Assist-A-Grad is a sound, well-developed community service that is unique in its inception, growth, and service.
The RHS Boosters provide scholarships to Senior Athletes through the Assist a Grad program.
